Somedays you wake up ready to conquer the world.. and other days you feel as though you’ve been hit by a truck. A big, ugly, dirty one. Nothing says ‘Monday’ quite like going to the grocery store with freshly mudded 16 wheeler tire tracks deep in the back of your shirt. Did I really get hit? Physically no. Emotionally? Mentally? Spiritually? Boy, does it feel like it!
We walk around doing the best that we can to keep our game faces on. To not let on that inside we’re wounded. But HE knows. Our Lord is no stranger to seeing His Son and His children in the throws of hurt. But you know what? The Bible tells us that sorrow may last for the night, but JOY comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Whether I’m in a place to see it..the warm bright sun DID rise again this morning. My heart continued it’s beating, my children still all around me..and these words from a song..
“I could’ve been six feet under
I could’ve been lost forever
Yeah I should be in that fire
But now there’s FIRE inside of me..
Here I am a dead man walking
No grave gonna hold God’s people
All the weight of all our evil
Lifted away forever free
Who could believe, who could believe?
FORGIVEN. Wherever this world finds you today..allow Jesus to remind you, that yes, you may feel down for the count at this moment..but, ohhhhhh beloved HE’S GOTCHA. HE’S. GOT. YOU. 👊🏼💪🏼🙌🏼☝🏼️🙏🏼
